How can you reconnect with someone with dementia? Keeping their current abilities in mind, learn ways to keep your loved one engaged in personalized activities.

This class will be held virtually. Log-in information will be sent to registrants prior to the class. This program is a part of our ongoing Classes for Caregivers series. All sessions are FREE, and held the second Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

As a graduate of the University of Maryland with an undergraduate degree in Health and Human Performance, professional registrations as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Certified Alzheimer's disease and Dementia Care trainer, as well as a Master's degree in the Management of Aging Services from the prestigious Erickson School of Aging Studies at the University of Maryland, Pamela led Memory Care teams in finding the best ways to provide hands on assistance for people living with cognitive impairment in residential communities - not just to meet regulations, but to exceed quality standards of care. Now, 30 years later, Pamela’s mission is to assist each person living with cognitive impairment to have the keys to a meaningful quality life while thriving at home.
