Jordan Shipley is a senior legal and anti-corruption officer for the Center for Anti-Corruption and Democratic Trust at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). Before joining IFES, Jordan worked for five and a half years at the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), where she defended tenants’ rights in Housing Court and provided legal assistance to clients living in underserved areas of New York City. She also worked in NYLAG’s Storm Response Unit, where she helped homeowners recover and rebuild following Superstorm Sandy. Previously, Jordan served as the Executive Editor of the American University International Law Review and as a Senior Research Associate with the Public International Law and Policy Group.

Jordan holds a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on international law and human rights from American University Washington College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from Villanova University. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 2015.
