This week, Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) president, and Polly Tommey, CHD.TV programming manager, covered the latest headlines on COVID-19, Big Pharma and other issues, including news that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the highest paid employee in government today, said he will leave his post as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Polly and Mary also discussed that in an “absolutely shocking” article, Fauci urged black Americans to get booster vaccines due to their “occupations and underlying health conditions.”

Plus, without warning, Facebook de-platformed CHD’s account. Simultaneously, Instagram suspended CHD’s Instagram account. Both accounts had hundreds of thousands of followers.

Also on tap this week: After he was injured by Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, “Nick” started a public vaccine injury group on social media hoping to find answers, but members had to “talk in code” or face censorship.

More of this week’s highlights:

  • The World Economic Forum published an article calling for an online censorship system powered by a combination of artificial and human intelligence that one critic suggested would “globalize” the “search for wrongthink.” “People are finally waking up,” said Polly.
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced a “drastic” overhaul of the agency after admitting to failures in its management of the COVID-19 pandemic. But some critics said the plan isn’t adequate and suggested replacing the agency with a public health model that operates independently from Big Pharma. “This article points out how ridiculous this all is,” said Mary.
  • Between July 2021 and July 23, 2022, the CDC made a series of changes to its “Facts about COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines,” including adding — and then removing — a statement assuring readers the mRNA and spike protein “do not last long in the body.”
  • After the Canada public health agency reported data showing those fully vaccinated for COVID-19 are at higher risk of dying from the virus compared to unvaccinated individuals, health officials stopped reporting on the data. “My favorite article of the week,” said Polly. “Please, please read this.”
  • AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine caused the “catastrophic brain injury” that resulted in the death of a 48-year-old U.K. rock singer two weeks after he got the vaccine, an inquest concluded.
  • The U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared Novavax’s COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use in adolescents.
  • White House COVID-19 coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha said the newly updated COVID-19 boosters will be available to teens and adults “in a few short weeks.”
  • State and local public health officials — having not heard differently this week — are expecting the Biden administration to extend the COVID-19 public health emergency for another 90 days in mid-October.
  • Researchers are working on a new rapid COVID-19 immunity test.
  • Canada approved the use of Pfizer’s COVID-19 booster vaccine for children 5 to 11 years old.
  • Canada launched a federal digital ID program. Government officials said the program is “the electronic equivalent of a recognized proof-of-identity document,” such as a driver’s license or passport, which “confirms that ‘you are who you say you are’ in a digital context.” “This is very disturbing,” said Polly.
  • The oral polio vaccine is the original source of the virus spreading in Jerusalem, New York City, and London.
  • U.S. policymakers allow farmers to spray glyphosate, a known carcinogen, on oats, wheat and other crops, which means the chemical has been found in oatmeal, bread products and many other foods commonly consumed by children.
  • The stark rise in autism rates in the U.S. is difficult to ignore, but what’s driving the increase remains a mystery. “This is a really important article,” said Polly.
  • Tomato flu is on the rise. It is a “very contagious” virus detected in kids. “The most ridiculous article of this week,” said Polly.
  • The moral significance of the Nuremberg Code — the most authoritative, internationally recognized document in the history of medical ethics — cannot be overstated, said Vera Sharav, Holocaust survivor and founder of the Alliance for Human Research Protection.
  • In the last two-and-a-half years, tragically, we have witnessed a global assault on the Nuremberg Code, according to Mary. We can restore this foundation of medical ethics … but only if we come together. “It was so inspiring to be in Nuremberg,” said Mary. “This speech was everything to me,” said Polly.
