Join NPH on February 12 for the first Resident Services Professional Development Training. This 3-hour workshop will explore the concepts and frameworks of identifying the strengths of our staff, our residents, and ourselves, expand how we assess and work from a strength-based (positive) orientation, and how to move the culture of our organizations to embrace a strengths-based approach.

Each and every staff person possess strengths, assets, and perspectives that contribute to the effective and successful implementation and operations of their organizational missions. The diverse roles (case managers, property managers, coordinators, supervisors, administrators, and the various staff) and responsibilities within the non-profit affordable housing universe create the communities that support our residents. Our ability to successfully and effectively do our work and to collaborate with one another is linked to our capacity to recognize the strengths we have developed (and are developing) in our careers, professional, and personal lives.

Please note that this training is specifically designed for Case Managers, Property Managers, Residence Services Coordinators, Residence Service Supervisors, and Residence Service Managers.

Facilitator: Dr. Diane Johnson, Ph.D. with Mmapeu Management Consulting.

When: Thursday, February 12 | 12pm – 3pm

The training will begin promptly at 12pm and we encourage attendees to arrive early. Lunch will be provided.

Where: Satellite Central | 540 21st Street Oakland, CA. 94612 (map)
