Under general supervision, performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work involving water distribution and wastewater collection facilities and systems. California DWOCP Grade 1 Water Treatment Operator certification and one year of experience in construction or maintenance work preferred. Must have or ability to obtain CA DWOCP Water Operator certifications and CWEA Wastewater Collection Systems certifications. Must have a valid Class C California Driver’s License and be insurable by the District’s vehicle insurance carrier. Must live within 30 minutes of Vandenberg Village to be able to respond to after-hours calls. Base pay $5,171 per month. Must complete VVCSD application form and submit DMV printout with application.
