Lake Lanier Halloween Paddle Trip (October 29)

On Saturday, October 29, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and Lanier Canoe & Kayak Club will be hosting a faBOOlous Halloween-themed paddle trip on Lake Lanier! The event is anticipated to begin at 2:30pm and end around 5:30pm.

Let’s get into the spooky spirit of Halloween! Paddlers are encouraged to wear a costume and/or decorate their boats. For safety reasons, costumes must be family-friendly and must not interfere with your ability to paddle or wear your Personal Floatation Device. All boat decorations must remain attached to your boat at all times to prevent littering.

This leisurely 2.5-mile paddle trip on Lake Lanier is great for paddlers of all ages and skill sets. Throughout the trip, paddlers will also learn about the history of the lake and the underwater town that is located beneath the surface.

There is a $15 fee per person. Registration is required and payment MUST be completed when registering (two-step process: a separate payment window will pop up after submitting the information form below). Specific details will be sent via email to all registered participants closer to the event date.
