APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - The League of Women Voters is rolling out a pilot program in Appleton to help people register to vote.

Each DMV office has a kiosk dedicated to MyVote.wi.gov, the official Wisconsin election information site.

Trained League of Women Voters volunteers will be at the DMV in Appleton, 711 W. Association Dr. through March 13. They’ll help people navigate the website and register to vote after they’ve finished their business with the DMV.

The organization says the program was successful in other parts of the state.
