Andy James began his journey with Challenge Enterprises on June 18, 2004, when he took a position at the Mayport commissary. When a position came open for an evening shift floor technician, Andy applied and was transferred to the Federal Courthouse in December of 2004. During his 16 years with Challenge Enterprises, Mr. James’s dedication, commitment, and loyalty have earned him three service pins.

Andy has been a highly valued team player, who independently performs his job duties with great energy.  He exudes confidence, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence, which in turn inspires others. His positive outlook is what encourages his teammates to focus on the common goal of excellence in the workplace.

Mr. James takes on challenges as an opportunity for learning and personal growth and takes pride in helping others reach their goals too.  Whether it is a fellow team member or his supervisor when an extra hand is needed Andy steps right up to the plate ready for the task at hand.  Andy is truly a team player and can always be counted on to show up ready to work every day.

Andy is greatly appreciated at the Simpson Courthouse, as a dedicated worker and true friend. As Andy moves onto retirement, his fellow Challenge Enterprises teammates and courthouse family will miss his calm demeanor and methodical decision-making skills.  Mr. James has been a great asset to his team because he goes beyond what is best for him and looks for what is best for the whole crew.  He truly is a thoughtful and kindhearted individual.
