Interfaith Power & Light Funding for Energy Efficiency Survey

Department of Energy’s (DOE) Renew America’s Nonprofits grant program will fund up to $200,000 per project to support the reduction of energy use and emissions and lower utility costs in nonprofit facilities so they can redirect savings into their mission-critical work, build organizational capacity, and further serve their communities. Energy efficiency upgrades do not include solar or other renewable energy sources, and work must be done on buildings owned by a registered 501(c)3.

This survey is meant to collect the basic information needed to estimate the amount of work and resources that congregations will be requesting through the Renew America’s Nonprofits grant program. Participating in this survey will not guarantee or reduce your chances of receiving a sub-recipient grant through Interfaith Power & Light if we are awarded. This survey is only meant to help IPL submit the initial application to DOE.

If awarded, the DOE will release requirements for the next phase of the program, and IPL will contact you regarding more detailed information and an opportunity to submit a longer proposal for qualified organizations.

Thank you for your interest in working with Interfaith Power & Light. Surveys are due by July 28th, 2023. Please contact Rev. Rebekah Kokalis at development@interfaithpowerandlight.org with any questions.

NOTICE* Survey responses will continue to be accepted until August 31st. Thank you.
