Contribute to PLAN's COVID19 Undocufund

PLAN is excited to announce the launching of a relief fund to support Nevada’s undocumented workers and families who are on the front lines of our economy during the COVID crisis and who have been completely left out of state and federal assistance efforts.

About 200,000 undocumented immigrants make Nevada their home. Immigrant and refugee workers are on the front lines of health care and other essential services necessary to keep our state from collapsing. Nevada has not invested in their education or communities in the best of times. We aim to provide direct financial relief to the vast numbers of immigrant and refugee families and workers who are devastated not only by the health crisis, but by the economic crisis that is without precedent in Nevada’s tourist-based economy.

The CARES Act, a $2.2 trillion coronavirus relief bill signed into law by President Trump in late March, excluded undocumented immigrants and mixed-status families from receiving economic aid.

The PLAN COVID19 Undocumented Relief Fund is a critical resource for undocumented Nevadans who sorely need support and relief from the impact of COVID-19, but are unable to receive it through the federal government's own stimulus channels.

Your contribution will help us build the fund to meet the needs of the undocumented community left out of the coronavirus relief.

PLAN’s COVID 19 Relief UndocuFund is a part of the Esperanza Fund, a community collective fund that aims to deliver help quickly through direct cash assistance to Nevada families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and who are otherwise ineligible for other forms of government help.
